This is my university assignment project where i had to use google maps. I hae choosen four stories to follow and they are all in the Preston area.

Image skills test

This picture is a good quality image of one of the University of Cental Lancashire's welcome signs. It is situated on the Adelphi roundabout.

This is the same picture but this time it has been resized into a thumbnail. It is 100 pixels x 100 pixels.

This is again the same image, but this time the dimensions were 400 pixels wide by 300 pixels high.

Finally, this is the last time i edited the picture and this time i resized it to 500 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. The image looks a lot leaner than in the the other resized pictures that i have edited.

Gary Cahill on the losing side, again!

Gary Cahill played against Blackburn yesterday and could do nothing to prevent his team go down to a disapointing loss versus a hard working Rovers side. Goals in either half gave the viditors the 2-0 victory and the clean sheet they had craved for and althoguh Cahill cleared one off the line, it was another day to foregert for the promising young centre half.

Gary Cahill will be playing against Blackburn Rovers on sunday in what will be a very important game for his club as well as himself. This will be the first game since the terrible result at Villa Park when Bolton were crushed 5 – 1 and Cahill had a day to forget.

In what will be a tightly contested derby, Gary Cahill will be looking to not only put in a better performance but also the much craved three points for his club !

Gary Cahill is on his way to the top!

Gary Cahill has emerged as one of the best young centre halfs in the country after leaving Aston Villa for £5 million to join Gary Megson’s Bolton.

With a number of eye catching displays, the Sheffield born defender has got himself into the England squad and has been watched on a number of occasions by Fabio Cappello.

Recently he has been linked with a lucrative move to Serie A giants Juventus and A.C Milan as well as Tottenham Hotspur in the Priemer legaue.
